Country House Library: an online bookstore that specialises in beautiful vintage, decorative, and rare books.

For almost two years, I oversaw all written content for Country House Library’s various online platforms. This included a lengthy period during which I was solely responsible for all content creation and marketing materials.

Here, I applied and honed my creative skills to increase brand awareness, enhance our social media presence, grow our email audience, craft SEO-strong product descriptions, and manage Shopify content in an industry I am both passionate about and highly knowledgeable of.

Organic Social

Whilst managing the Country House Library social media channels (predominantly Instagram), I combined my writing abilities with my keen visual eye to provide photography and captions that aligned with the brand’s identity.

Through social media management, scheduling, and liaising with online affiliates and influencers, I was able to grow the company’s Instagram follower count by over 1500 followers in a matter of months.

Emails

When creating Country House Library’s marketing emails on Mailchimp, I played an essential role in crafting the company’s tone of voice whilst promoting enticing offers and discounts.

The value of my contributions was proven by the company’s email subscriber count almost doubling in the span of six months (from roughly 1600 to almost 3000), alongside the average email revenue rising significantly in that time.
